Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has met with four diplomats set to represent the country abroad, urging them to uphold professionalism and safeguard national interests during their assignments.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Anwar said the government continues to prioritize diplomatic training, international exposure and capacity building to strengthen Malaysia’s representation overseas.
He said these efforts are aimed at helping diplomats protect national interests, deepen bilateral ties and enhance Malaysia’s image on the global stage.
The prime minister also stressed the importance of carrying out their duties with integrity, professionalism and dedication while placing the interests of the people and the country first.
Anwar wished the diplomats success in their upcoming assignments abroad.
