Malaysia’s Immigration Department (JIM) will hold a three-day Immigration Customer Day 2026 from July 16 to 18 at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, offering a range of immigration services to the public, including passport renewals, as part of the department’s 104th Immigration Day celebration.
The event will take place on Level 2 of the mall, next to Christine’s Bakery, and will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The initiative aims to bring government services closer to the public by providing on-site immigration services. Visitors will be able to renew Malaysian international passports, check travel status and blacklist records, receive advice on visas, passes and permits, access services related to foreign workers and expatriates, and obtain information on the MYIMMS immigration management system.
The department will also host a series of exhibitions highlighting its operations and ongoing modernization efforts. Displays will feature the new Malaysian international passport, immigration enforcement activities, official uniforms, career opportunities, and innovations in public service delivery.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the department’s official mascots, Wira and Srikandi, as well as members of the PAS TAK tactical team. Several side activities will be held throughout the three-day program.
A limited number of commemorative gifts will be available for registered visitors.
The Immigration Department has encouraged members of the public to attend the event with their families, saying the program offers an opportunity to access essential immigration services while learning more about the department’s work directly from its officers.
