The Malaysian Immigration Officers Association (PPImM) hosted its 2026 Black-Tie Dinner at Sama-Sama Hotel in Sepang, bringing together 130 immigration officers from across Malaysia to celebrate their dedication and contributions.

The event was officiated by Director General of Immigration Zakaria Shaaban and attended by Deputy Director General of Immigration (Control) Dato’ Aminuddin bin Yahaya and Deputy Director General of Immigration (Operations) Dato’ Lokman Effendi Ramli.

The annual gathering provided an opportunity for immigration personnel to strengthen professional ties while recognising their commitment to serving the public.

Outstanding officers were honoured with awards at the dinner, while retirees and strategic partners were also presented with tokens of appreciation for their contributions and support.

The programme also featured entertainment performances and various activities, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The gathering underscored the spirit of unity and camaraderie among immigration personnel and reinforced their shared commitment to delivering quality public services.
