Malaysia’s Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is seeking to locate two Bangladeshi nationals who are required to testify as prosecution witnesses in an ongoing corruption trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the MACC said the case involves charges under Section 16(a)(B) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (Act 694). Court proceedings are scheduled to continue throughout July, August and September 2026.

According to the commission, the first witness, Fardin Mahi, could not be located at his last known address: No. 6, Level 16, Block A, Menara City One, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Kuala Lumpur.

The second witness, Mohd Suman Hossain, was also not found at his last known address at Residensi Pandanmas, Block B-20-05, Lorong Delapan, Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur.

The MACC has appealed to members of the public with information on the whereabouts of either individual to contact investigating officer PS Mohd Hafifi Rahmat at +60 18-663 2034 or the MACC Kuala Lumpur office at +60 3-9206 5000.

The commission urged the public to come forward with any information that could assist authorities in locating the two witnesses to facilitate the ongoing court proceedings.
