Malaysian Prime Minister and Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Anwar Ibrahim joined the campaign trail in Negeri Sembilan on Wednesday, aiming to strengthen the ruling coalition’s momentum in the ongoing state election.

Making his first campaign appearance in the state since the election campaign began, Anwar was scheduled to attend a series of programmes across Ampangan, Paroi, Sikamat and Senawang, including community engagements, youth sessions and a major political rally.

The visit comes on the fifth day of campaigning and is expected to reinforce PH’s efforts to retain the Negeri Sembilan state government led by Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun.

PH’s election machinery has adopted a locality-based micro-campaign strategy, focusing on direct engagement with voters and addressing local issues, while large-scale rallies are being used to showcase coalition unity and mobilise support ahead of polling day.
